You are right. You have to retune your harp after you have rounded the
reeds´ corners. To compensate it, you do as you would when lowering the
pitch of the harmonica, removing material at the base of the reed.
But the amount you have to retune the harmonica is very small.
Fo this job I would personally recommend a tool Ben bouman sent me. It is a
kind of machine pencil. But, instead of using carbon leads of, say, 0,5mm
diam, you use a buundle of glass fibers of about 7mm diameter.
It is used, as far as I know, to retouch technical nanking drawings.
Jewellers use it too, but I don´t know whatfor, I have seen this tool at a
jewellers and watchmakers supply store.
